We recently had the pleasure of decorating a living room, dining room, & entryway for a lovely local client. She had moved in recently and needed furniture, décor, window coverings, paint, and anything else we could think of to update the main living area for around $10,000.

When it comes to renovations, there are many moving parts that contribute to a successful end-result. If those “moving parts” aren’t scheduled efficiently, it can result in extra costs and a much longer timeline. Unless you have a lot of time to spare, or are efficient in the home renovations industry, hiring a designer to execute & project manage the renovation is so important to make the renovation run smoothly.

We recently completed two incredible bathrooms for some wonderful local clients, and wanted to share all about the process of that renovation. The timeline of events for this one was a little different than most of our projects, so we wanted to share that process with you!

You probably always hear that if you want a room to be bright and spacious, that you should paint the room a light colour. While this is true in many cases, there are situations where a dark colour can enhance the space and also make it feel spacious! Dark colours can cause edges of the room to blend together, giving the illusion of more space.
